Ancient Origins is the seventh expansion of Pokemon Cards in the XY Series of the Pokemon TCG. Initially released in the west on August 12th, 2015 the set contains a total of 100 cards.
The set has a focus on the Djinn Pokemon; Hoopa and continues the trend of Mega Evolution and EX Pokemon; two theme decks were released alongside the main expansion; the Iron Tide Theme deck featuring Metagross and the Stone Heart theme deck featuring regirock.
