Upcoming TCG Releases for Late 2019!

The end of the year is coming, and so is the end of year rush! From Halloween to Christmas and finally, the New Year, these final few months are the craziest for us all. Whether you’re hunkering down for winter, or stripping off for summer, everybody is getting ready – and so are these TCG releases!

It's a rush for us all, but here at Titan Cards, we’ve got you covered with all the info that you need for the latest releases. Below, our team has made a list of some of the most important releases for you to stay tuned with before the New Year begins! And we’re not just talking Pokémon either, with Yu-Gi-Oh! making a surprise appearance, too. So, let’s get into it:

OCT 4TH – Hidden Fates Pokéball Collections Featuring Zoroark and Metagross

Kicking things off for the final few months of the year are these stunning Pokéball Collections. As one of the coolest introductions to the Hidden Fates expansion, these Pokéballs are definitely worth your time. They feature Zoroark and Metagross – two Pokémon with a dedicated cult following to them – in their shiny variants, as well as the unique addition of the Pokéballs themselves, which are real, stylishly designed Pokéballs that can be used as storage tins for your cards. In short, though the idea of a real Pokéball may seem like a gimmick, Pokémon have pulled off this idea very well, and have included the idea with a great collection overall.

Here's what's included:

- 10x Hidden Fates Booster Packs

- 1x Promo card, featuring the shiny variant of either Zoroark GX or Metagross GX

- 1x Code for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online

- 1x Stunning Great Ball or Ultra Ball tin with a hidden compartment that’s big enough to store a 60 card deck.

OCT 4TH – Rayquaza and Ultra Necrozma Battle Arena Decks

Hot damn! The battlefield is heating up with these two heavy hitters decimating each other in these new Battle Arena Decks! This is one product that you really don't want to miss out on, and the reason is all in the name – Rayquaza or Ultra Necrozma. Now, some experienced Pokémon TCG players may scoff at the idea of these Battle Arena Decks, instead preferring to craft their own over a period of time. But, we wouldn't suggest jumping to any conclusion that they are bad, simply because they are an official TCG product that’s being released to help players get into competitive playing. In fact, we think they're great, with the namesake cards of Rayquaza and Ultra Necrozma being effective in these Battle Arena Decks the same as they are useful in actual competitive play. They're separate products, and even though they are made for each other, they are equally as useful when used by themselves. Also, these decks offer a lot for players who want some bang for their buck!

Here’s what they include:

  • 2x ultra rare holographic cards. featuring a the Legendary Pokémon-GX of their namesake (either Ultra Necrozma or Rayquaza)
  • 1x holographic Prism Star card
  • 6x holographic basic Energy cards
  • Tournament-level Trainer cards, including Cynthia, Erika’s Hospitality, and more!
  • 1x special Supporter card with exclusive art!

In addition, each box contains:

  • 1x metallic coin
  • 1x 2-player playmat and rulesheet
  • 1x code card for the Pokémon Trading Card game Online.
  • 1x deck box
  • Damage counters
  • 1x Quick Guide to unlock the powerful strategies within these Battle Arena Decks!

OCT 18TH – Pale Moon GX Box

Pokémon has put on their seasonal outfits for this Halloween-themed release, coming in mid-October, and featuring some of the most ghostly Pokémon of the franchise. In a joking attempt to spook us, Pokémon has made this Tag Team GX card include Trevenant and Dusknoir GX under the idea of the two stalking you in the dark of a forest. Scary? Well, it depends on you are. Useful? Yes! For all you TCG players out there, this Tag Team will certainly catch your attention with their tricky moves, allowing you to hit your opponent for 150 damage, and make them shuffle two cards back into their deck. Either way, you better be ready for this release!

Here’s what it will include:

  • 1x never before seen foil promo tag team card featuring Trevenant and Dusknoir GX
  • 1x holographic oversize Tag team GX card, featuring Trevenant and Dusknoir GX
  • 4x  Pokémon TCG booster packs
  • 1x code card for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online

OCT 18TH – Hidden Fates Premium Powers Collection

Yet, even with their Halloween-themed releases, Pokémon can’t distract any of us from the Hidden Fates Premium Powers Collection, which is making most fans drool just at the sight of it – and that’s with good reason! Hidden Fates is more-or-less the hottest TCG expansion of the market right now… except, it’s not really on the market. You see, Hidden fates has really kept itself hidden so far, and for those that aren’t in the know, it’s because Pokémon decided to market the expansion in a really unique way,  which was by not really marketing it. Instead, they opted to make it that you cannot by individual boosters for the series, but rather, you must by them as part of some sort of collection. Understandably, this has made the gems contained within it only that much harder to find, which makes this special release all the worthwhile.

Don’t believe us? Check out what it will include:

  • 3x Full-art holographic cards! 1x Shiny Rayquaza-GX + 2x special gold cards – 1x Solgaleo-GX and 1x Lunala-GX

  • 7x Pokémon TCG: Hidden Fates booster packs
  • 1x Pokémon TCG poster for your home or office
  • 1x Code card for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online

And Yu-Gi-Oh! fans, don’t be sour because it’s time to shower you with attention as well! Coming this October will be the new Chaos Impact booster boxes and booster packs. And they will be available right here on Titan Cards! But, be quick, because stock is limited, and you definitely don’t want to miss your chance to get your hands on this new release!

NOV 1ST - Pikachu GX & Eevee GX Special Collection

Okay, so though we strive to bring a positive energy to the TCG, it’s inevitable that we have to make a comment about this – Pokémon really is pushing Eevee as a mascot in recent times. Is that a bad thing? Not necessarily, and it’s understandable, too, when given the similar cuteness that it shares with Pikachu. But, it is this set in particular that shows how it can be a good thing, with the contrasting styles of art featured on these cards giving some truly stunning additions to your collection.

The Pokémon TCG: Pikachu-GX & Eevee-GX Special Collection includes:

  • 1x Holographic promo card featuring Pikachu-GX
  • 1x Full-art holographic promo card featuring Eevee-GX
  • 1x Holographic promo card featuring Pikachu
  • 1x Holographic promo card featuring Eevee
  • 1x Oversize foil card featuring Pikachu-GX
  • 4x Pokémon TCG booster packs
  • 1x code card for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online

NOV 15TH – Pokémon Galar Collection Boxes

Fans are more than ready for Pokémon Sword and Shield, and Pokémon is just as ready. With this brand new collection, Pokémon will be showing us all the brilliance of the new Galar region, which is sewing all the seams to become a fan favourite already. There will be 3 Pokémon Galar Collection Boxes on offer, each featuring a different starter Pokémon from the new region. With the games coming in hot and eager to please, the TCG isn’t far behind with these collections, so be sure to pick up yours and take your first glimpse into the Galar region!

Each Pokémon TCG: Galar Collection includes:

  • 3x Holographic promo cards featuring Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble
  • 1 of 2 holographic oversize cards featuring the Legendary Pokémon Zacian or Zamazenta
  • 1 of 3 glossy pins featuring Grookey, Scorbunny, or Sobble
  • 4x Pokémon TCG booster packs
  • 1x Code card for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online

NOV 22ND – Tag Team Generations Premium Collection

The idea of Generations is one that fans (and even those who aren’t) are already very familiar with. Having been a media sensation with the news that Pokémon would be printing the original TCG cards, the news turned out to be highly exaggerated, but it became a bittersweet romance that continues until now. Becoming hugely popular, Generations is definitely one of the highlights of the Pokémon TCG in recent years.

As for this Tag Team Generations Premium Collection, it is clear that Pokémon really wants to emphasize the original idea behind Generations – to link the generations that are present within Pokémon. Featuring Kanto Pokémon the same as it has Unova region and later, this collection is ready to hit the shelves on November 22nd, which will be a day full of releases.

Here’s what you’ll find in the collection:

  • 2x Holographic promo cards featuring TAG TEAM Pokémon: Charizard & Braixen-GX and Venusaur & Snivy-GX!
  • 1x Oversize holographic promo card featuring Charizard & Braixen-GX
  • 1x Full-size playmat featuring TAG TEAM illustrations
  • 7x Pokémon TCG booster packs
  • 1x Metallic coin
  • 1 Code card for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online

NOV 22ND - World Championship Decks (4 Different Varieties!)

At this point in time, not that much is known about the 2019 World Championship Decks in their official release. The winners for the 2019 Pokémon TCG World Championships are known, but Pokémon is still working on putting the final touches to one of the most notable releases for the year. Previous releases have proven invaluable to TCG Players around the world, to whom the product has always given them a cheap alternative to trying some of the most expensive, yet revered decks in TCG history. This one won’t be any different, so it will definitely be worth checking out if you are a serious player!

NOV 22ND Pokémon: Collector Chest Tin (Armored Mewtwo/Pikachu/Charizard)

Capping off our list is the Pokémon Collector Chest, which will feature the awe-inspiring full art, Armored Mewtwo, as well as cool Pikachu and Charizard cards. Undoubtedly, though, Armored Mewtwo takes the cake – its 3D art blends nicely with Mewtwo’s aggressive design, which is a welcome change when considering the mass amount of Mewtwo cards available on the market. But, other than the featured cards of the set, the Collector Chest is designed for a more casual and fun approach to the TCG, with it containing some sticker sheets, as well as a notepad and some other accessories.

Here’s what you will find inside the Collector’s Chest:

  • 5x Pokémon TCG booster packs
  • 3x Holographic promo cards featuring Armored Mewtwo, Pikachu, and Charizard!
  • 1x  Pokémon TCG coin
  • 2x  Colourful sticker sheets
  • 1x Mini portfolio to store your collection of cards
  • 1x Pokémon notepad and 4 pencils
  • 1x Code card for the Pokémon TCG Online
